Knowledgeable staff, easy to access and get around both venues. Informative and attractive displays. Made to feel very welcome and not ushered round at all

There was a school party, so a bit noisy. We wanted more, it was all over too soon. There is a café type room and the reception is also the gift shop. The advantage is it is within walking distance from Eastwood Hall.

A great tour full of information and with a very knowledgeable tour guide.

I think we were a little spoilt, as we had the tour guide to ourselves.

Nice to step back in time

This is a really informative heritage centre. The staff are fantastic, so helpful in answering questions and imparting information to bring your visit to life.

We also went on a D H Lawrence walk which was run by a member of the staff (she came in on her day off to run the walk after the original person was taken sick). Cannot remember her name but she was a fantastic walking guide, her knowledge and passion for D H Lawrence was amazing. However all the staff seem to go the extra mile.

Thank you Janike92 for your positive review. I am glad to hear you had an enjoyable time at D.H. Lawrence Heritage and during your walk of D.H. Lawrence County. I will be sure to pass on your comments to Jackie who did as you say come in last minute while on holiday to cover for someone else who dropped out due to illness

Kind Regards

Found this place fascinating but needs more publicity to promote it. Eastwood is quite run down which is a great shame.
