This is the said to be the largest private museum in China, and is mostly dedicated to the Second Japanese Chinese War. We call it World War II. The museum is spread out over a large number of acres and is comprised of around 15 buildings. The museum is excellent with pictures and artifacts from this time period. I went specifically to view the Flyng Tiger's Building. It is excellently done and did not disappoint me or my family. One other building is dedicated to the victims of the 2008 Earthquake. Thousands died, including many thousands of children. Looking through this building was very emotional, seeing all the damage and destruction caused by the quake. Also the pictures of injured children and adults was very moving. Excellent day trip from Chengdu.
