My wife and I stayed at the B & B Pagliarelle on August 23 and 24. We came to see the town of Oratino because my wife’s father was born here and her mom’s family is from here too.
We’re not “Bed and Breakfast” people but this place really has a great atmosphere.
You really get the full feel of Oratino here.
The people who run this B & B are very friendly and accommodating.
The daughter speaks excellent English and knows everyone in the town. She actually introduced us to some of my wife’s family members.
The breakfast is nice with a croissant, cookies, orange juice and coffee. We also requested skim milk which they immediately provided.
The rooms are extremely clean and inviting. We stayed in the room with a private bathroom and it was very comfortable.
You also have access to a full kitchen and a huge family room with a large screen TV.
One of the best things about this place is the view from the balcony which is breathtaking.
It’s also convenient that it’s on the edge of town, relatively quiet, and it’s only about a 5 minute walk to the center of town where there is a terrific restaurant named “Olmicello” (that features outstanding homemade pasta).
There’s no air conditioning but they gave us a floor fan which worked great even though it was the hottest time of the year. We were never uncomftorable.
We really enjoyed the B & B Pagliarelle and would stay there again.
