We traveled to the Cultural District and Tea Country and experienced mediocre lodging and service for the little money we paid. For this reason we were nervous about Palm Villa and it's $50/night rate. We arrived exhausted from a long day driving from Tea Country. Though the sign is hard to find, once we were there we found the staff welcoming and helpful (language always being an issue). The rooms are clean and simple and the location is divine...right on the beach with a common area to dine, watch the surf, etc. The food is average but the overall ambience is warm and friendly.
We loved it there and were able to regenerate our batteries before facing the roads again.More
