We received Excellent friendly service. Sunday lunch is not to be missed. Fresh vegetables galore.
Generous portions. We have made it a regular Sunday event. Simply Outstanding . I highly recommend the poplars.

Whilst staying at Netherwood caravan park we were looking for a Sunday carvery. We had been recommended to The Plough but were unable to get through on the phone - what a result.

We booked a table at Rowton Poplars and it was fantastic.

The staff were super welcoming and very attentive.

The carvery was one of the best roast dinners that any of the four of us have ever had. An awesome range of perfectly cooked veg and beautiful meat accompanied by fantastic gravy. A great range of condiments topped it off.

The bar and restaurant is beautifully decorated in traditional style.

For a small hotel, we have enjoyed an amazing weekend with fabulous food and a fantastic atmosphere! The rooms are spotlessly clean. The cocktails are amazing, we tried the American spiced tea, aperol spritz and another with elderflower (70 in French ) . All staff were friendly and very helpful. We had a quick selection of starters before going out. Had we known that the food was THAT good - we would have stayed all night! Particular favourite starters was the truffle mushrooms, pate and the crab! Mwah! We also tried the cookie dough with icecream and strawberries- scraped it clean! Compliments to the chef! Such a selection of drinks too. Enjoyed a leisurely breakfast before heading home. Excellent experience thank you! We will be back!

We booked this hotel stay as a stopover prior to a shopping trip to Cheshire Oaks. We only wanted and needed a clean and comfortable bed for the night but The Pops is much more than that. The food is outstanding and the rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and of a far better standard than many other hotels we have stayed at including the well known brands. The owners / staff are excellent and have produced a superb hotel, restaurant and bar.
