This restaurant serves good home cooked food & reasonable prices.
The menu is small but the pasta is home made & lovely.

“Simple but Good”
Reviewed June 8, 2013

We tried this place because the one we wanted to eat at was closed !

On inital inspection I was a little concerned over the quietness of the place, and the simplicity of the restaurant.

I have to say that you must not visit with high expectations, but as long as you accept that it is a local restaurant in a small Italian village, serving traditional local fayre you will not be disappointed.

The food is simple, but well prepared by Rosa-Bianca and her sister, who are actually very friendly people once you make an effort to speak italian (as they have almost no english).
Be prepared for a little wait as they make it from scratch !

We had melon and Parma Ham to start, and the local pasta dish Pizzochery, which was excellent, and a pleasant change from the usual run of the mill pasta dishes.

The wine and beer here were also good, and the cheapest we bought all week ! 3 euros a pint for beer vs 5 euros+ elsewhere !

Overall really good eating experience

“Good restaurant, however a bit too quiet...”
Reviewed July 26, 2012 via mobile

The restaurant only has two outside tables and the rest is inside. The service was slow, 10 minutes waiting for Cola and a bottle of Lambrusco, and aside from one other couple the place was empty. There was no atmosphere.
However! The local pasta dish Pizzocherie was amazing!

Family run and very friendly. Excellent food and great wines at a reasonable price. I recommend the fresh fish from the lake and the home made desserts.
