My wife and I stayed at this B&B and found it to be an excellent place to savour the home away from home experience. Ken and Mary were very welcoming on our arrival. We found the room very cosy, clean and great. En-suite in each room. Ken-Mar House is very centrally located in Ballymoney and we found it very easily. Town centre is only 5 minutes walk. Great place to be based to visit the north Antrim coast. There is parking at back of the B&B for safe off-road parking. Breakfast was excellent. Enjoyed our stay very much. Would recommend this B&B. Thanks to two great hosts.

Room Tip: Excellent accommodation in this area is hard to find. Book early so as not to be disappointed!!!!!!

This was my second stay at the Ken-Mar House and as was my first stay, this was a joy. See my previous review listed here.
This time I travelled with my partner so shared a double room. Kenny met us on arrival with a smile and a warm friendly handshake. There was the offer of tea or coffee before being shown to our room which was large in size and was immaculate and very tastefully decorated. Tea and coffee making facilities were in the room along with light snacks and fresh cake. A decent sized flat screen TV with built in DVD player was on the wall and there were plenty of TV channels to choose from whilst we relaxed and settled in. An ample supply of fresh towels, soaps and shower gels were in the bathroom that was bright and warm. A nice surprise at Winter time was the hot water bottle in the bed which added a nice touch to a warm cosy room.

The Ulster fry at the Ken-Mar is not to be missed, but if you're not a 'fry' person then do not fear as there is plenty to choose from. My partner settled for scrambled eggs on toast which she very much enjoyed.

Kenny and Mary joined us for a chat after breakfast where we laughed, joked and solved the problems of the world with our friendly banter.

If you find yourself in the Ballymoney region of Northern Ireland and require accommodation then look no further than the Ken-Mar House, it truly is a home from home.

After the stunningly scenic drive up to Ballymoney, there is only one place one must stay in this quaint old town.
The breakfast with that view are incomparable.
The rooms are wonderfully decorated and complete the experience

I have stayed at ken mar house several times over the last few years and therefore I am in a good position to write an accurate review.
The accomodation is beautifully presented and well finished off with expensive finishing touches which makes you feel home from home and complimented by Kenny & Mary's hospitality it just makes everything perfect.
For me there's only one thing missing...and thats a hot tub on the patio!!!(only joking)

The Ulster fry( large cooked breakfast) is a must and is served in the beautifully presented dining room.

I will be back again next year to visit Kenny & Mary who always make you feel welcome, and who knows..........there maybe that hot tub!!! :)
