I stayed in a lovely big room overlooking the garden, for 4 nights on a business trip. The house has a big sitting room and guests can use the garden too. Wi fi has a strong signal and is available all over the house.

Elaine, the owner, was super friendly and happy to help in any way - her freshly cooked breakfasts were absolutely delicious. Figaro the dog was there to talk to too !

Only 10 minutes walk from the centre of town, in a very quiet residential leafy road.

Highly recommended.

We stayed in Pinetrees for a few nights recently and considered it a great find - Elaine is very friendly and helpful, she does lovely breakfasts at a time to suit you (just tick your selection the night before). The furnishings in the room looked brand new, and the location of the B&B is great if you want to do some exploring around Co. Antrim. There was room for several cars to park which was handy too. Would definitely stay here again if I was planning another trip.

Elaine, the owner, has travelled a lot, and it shows in her attention to detail in this fabulous guest house. We stayed in the biggest room, with a king size bed, crisp cotton sheets, and modern neutral colours. The bathroom was great, with a power shower, clean towels every day and again, great attention to detail.

Breakfasts were good, using local produce (free range eggs, local bacon and sausages) and were taken round a communal dining table.

Oh, and the guest house also has free wifi, which works throughout the building.

This was a real find and I'm in two minds whether to post a review of the place on TripAdvisor, just in case others get to find out this secret as well. The tourist industry in NI could really do with following Elaine's example.

Elaine could not do enough for us. She was very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were all beautifully furnished to the highest standard, bed was very comfy. Breakfast can be taken at a time to suit you round a big oval table which encourages conversation with other guests. Food well cooked, plenty of it, and always more to hand for those with healthy appetites!
