“Perfect B&B”
Reviewed September 13, 2012

Fantastic bedrooms with bathroom after the mirrors, where we thought there was a dressing room. A chilling room to talk with the other people in the B&B. A warm welcome from the owner whit a lot of info what to do around. A very good wel organised Irish Breakfast, served by an other lady who was so friendly and gentle so that the breakfast was a fantastic experience.

Stayed 3 nights at the B&B with my wife and elderly Mum. Everything was fantastic. Extremely comfortable beds, and the most attentive hosts in Elaine and Phyllis who looked after us so well, even when my Mum woke half the guests up before 6am (alarm clock malfunction apparently!!). Fantastic breakfast with huge choice. Ideal location for exploring the Antrim Coast and we spent a day in Belfast too (only 40 miles away). Highly recommended and hope we'll be back soon!!

I only had the pleasure of staying 1 night as i had an exam at university the next morning and didn't want the long drive.I stayed in a single room which was a good size with a lovely view. i am very fussy and always want an en suite BUT Pinetrees was super clean and the decor lovely. There was a bathroom next door which had a jacuzzi bath and a jet power shower which felt great :) I was helped with parking, directions and anything i asked was answered happily.

Very welcoming.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Pinetrees for a 6 night break whilst visiting NI for the Milk Cup Tournament. I had never been to NI before but will certainly visit again and again and again!! The first encounter of the lovely people of this beautiful country was Elaine, my host for the week, a lovely, helpful and very friendly person. She doubled as my Tourist Information Guide for the week. You could not have asked for a better welcome. How she and Phyllis manage to maintain this beautiful, clean and well appointed B & B beggers belief.....but they do! I have probably gained half a stone in the time I stayed as the breakfasts [I never did find out if they were classed as full 'Irish' 'Ulster' or dare I say it 'English' ] were magnificent with basically twice as much as I could eat [but it still got devoured] and pretty much as great a choice as a traveller could want. I did not have one single lunch when I was there as I was too full!! Any how enough prattling on, a brilliant place to stay with a warm welcome and great food....until next time!

Room Tip: Phone Elaine direct at The Pines as she has a better idea of how to accomodate guests than agencies...

Just stayed at the Pinetrees for 3 nights-26th,27th and 28th July.Elaine couldnt have been nicer.Lovely lady- Phyllis was great too.
Room was very comfortable and very clean and tidy, price was very reasonable. Breakfast was just great, such a great choice elaine even got me Soya milk especially. There wasnt any more that we could have asked for on our stay except for a little more sunshine.Would definately recommend Pinetrees- one of the best bed and breakfasts we stayed at.Really hope to be back next year. Thanks so much
