Victor Langheld is an aesthetic,a philosopher and a dreamer/writer.Some may call him eccentric. His philosophy is practical and grounded. He has stayed in India for 30 years and has got most of the sculptures made in Mahabalipuram in Southern India and has taken pains to get them shipped to Ireland(his conviction is motivating).
We were taken to the park by our local hosts who though it would be of interest to us given the background of Indian philosophy/deities.It certainly was.The Ganesh sculptures are quirky and interesting.
Open 12.30-1800 hrs each day till 22nd Sept.Entry donation is 2.50 Euros.Takes about an hour to walk through all the entire estate .There are books and handicrafts on sale.
Go if you are interested in serious philosophy or if you are a picnicker(lovely lawns).
(was glad to have met Victor and discuss life with him)
