Thank you Deirdre and Mary! Our stay was as perfect as we could've imagined. Curracloe beach if i was to compare it to anywhere, is like Ireland's Orange County California. SO laid back, so cool, all sunshine (for us :P) and the cottage is perfect for hanging out. We ate at the Italian restaurant (walking distance) and the chipper, and the pub in town and were well taken care of. I liked our space especially because we had the most privacy compared to the other rental places near by. Parking is a little tricky for a novice, but ya master it by the end of the week :) Thanks again! See ya next year.

My husband and I absolutely loved The Dunes but I think Henry and Dolly our dogs enjoyed it even more, perfect safe walk across a quiet road to a magnificent beach it was so relaxing and peaceful we will be back
Our family of 5 had a great 10 day stay here.
The house catered for all our needs both inside & out with the beach literally the 70 steps away as promised.
On the rainy days Wexford & Gorey were just a short spin away with lots to do there.
Mary was very helpful with any queries we had.
If holidaying in Wexford again we would definitely return to The Dunes
We stayed here with our three children in July 2018. I can only highly recommend this house. When Deirdre advertises it is 70 steps from the beach she is not exaggerating.
The house comes fully equipped with everything and all the mod cons one needs to enjoy a relaxing stay.
I had the pleasure of meeting Deirdre as she was staying in the house after us. This is no ordinary rented summer house. It is a very personal experience, you always get the feeling you are staying in a house that a lot of love has been poured into. The decor is very tasteful and even the modern appliances are in keeping with the house. Tasteful is the word I would use to describe it. It is a 300 year old cottage but you can see a lot has been done to it to keep it up with the times while still retaining its original charm and character. I cannot see how anyone who stays there would be disappointed. My teenage daughter is a fan of new and modern but even she succumbed to its charms after just a few hours staying there.
The photos do not show you that there is a very reasonably sized garden as well and ample space to safely park your car.
I am very familiar with Wexford and the house provided us with a great base from which to explore some of the many attractions Wexford has to offer.
Family of 5 and 2 dogs had an amazing week at The Dunes. Couldn't find any faults what so ever, everything we needed (and more) was there. The beds were really comfortable and the bedding lovely and fresh. The garden was ideal and safe for our dogs ( a Labrador and Springador) I could go on and on but basically the nicest cottage we have stayed in, perfect location, stunning beach. Thank you, we will definitely be back.
This was our third visit to The Dunes Cottage and once again we had a lovely time at what we now look on as our get away from it all secret location. The cottage was really comfortable well equipped and as usual Dee ensured everything we could have possibly needed was there.
We had a really chilled out time and it was so relaxing just to sit in the garden while our two dogs watched the world go by, looking forward to their next run on the beautiful curracloe beach.
Overall a lovely stay once again.
Just what we wanted! The charm of a thatched cottage with all modern conveniences with theIrish Sea just over the dunes.
