We were a group of 6 adults and three children, one under the age of 2. We were all staying in Lake Lodge which was about 5 minutes drive away. We had called in for a drink the previous evening and booked it for a meal as it had a nice cosy atmosphere and appeared very family orientated. We werent disappointed. We started off sharing chicken wings and potato skins. Excellent. Two of us had the burger with bacon/ cheese and chips. A great choice - burgers were flavoursome and meaty. Another of the group had the beef and Guiness stew which they raved about. It seemed to be a very popular choice with other diners. Chicken, steal and cod were the other meals and everyone really enjoyed their food. Kids menu was great also. Those who had desserts raved about them. Couldnt fault this place. The staff were wonderful, so friendly and they couldnt do enough for us. All in all, a lovely experience. Would thoroughly recommend.

A very busy restaurant, in the beautiful village of Multyfarnham. Weirs Bar & Restaurant has a welcoming open fire, loads of ambience and excellent food, I had Fillet of chicken and Unas sticky toffee pudding - wonderful presentation and delicious flavors. A really good value Sunday lunch menu. Staff and management were so friendly and helpful.
Will definitely be back.

I have to write this review as this place has the edge for me.
Started with potatoe skins which were so nice. Then went for Chicken Fillet with a beautiful sauce and apricot nutty stuffing. OMG so good. The sticky toffee home made pudding a must. Yum yum
Then the staff so friendly and helpful.
Truly a wonderful atmosphere at this time of year and great food.
Go on spoil yourselves you won't be disappointed

This place was and is still on my places to dine and immerse myself in. However today as I dashed from one appointment to another I took the time with my companion to grab something quick. Well that soon changed, we were greeted by Rebecca who showed us to our seats, summarised the menu and chatted with us. The urgency that brought us here melted away as we enjoyed our surroundings. My coffee arrived which was delightful and the vegetable soup my companion had was packed with flavour. We reluctantly left for our next appointment after settling our bill with Ruth, two wonderful ambassadors of Weirs. My little snippet today has made me more determined to arrange our next family event in the friendly and wonderful Weirs Bar and Restaurant. Thank you!
