I stayed here for a Christmas Party night and every thing was ok . Because of the weather a lot that we had booked was canceled but no matter, myself and 5 workmates were happy enough the hotel was good. We left the next day at about one, it was snowing and it had been very cold the night before, when i got to my car the driver door wouldn t open with the remote control, i thought it was strange but I know with the cold things can happen with cars, I just thought it was a fuse or something. When I got home my husband checked the fuses but thought they were ok, my mechanic was on holidays for three weeks and when he took the car to look at it he decovered that someone had cut the wires for the central locking, in other words someone had tried to steal it but couldn t but did a lot of damage. I rang the hotel while they were nice they had no cctv for the night so it was sorry about that but who cares . I have stayed in lots of hotels in Dublin and all over the country and my car was fine. I organised a gathering of our extended family (55 adults and 20 kids under 12) which is one of those occassions where you take all of the brickbats if things go wrong.
Thankfully Louise in CityNorth arranged a really great occassion for us - from check-in to pre dinner drinks, dinner (the food was really great, amazing value at e30 for 4 courses), drinks afterwards, games room for the kids, movies and popcorn for them after dinner- brilliant- and the accommodation and service level was well up to 4 star.
Even the location was so easy to find, right on the motorway.
I didn't have one complaint or negative comment and I did get quite a number of thanks and well-dones.

Having stayed with CityNorth Hotel on several occasions over the last number of years the staff have always been very welcoming and obliging. Meals served are consistently good and served with a smile. The hotel is bright and spacious in all aspects of reception, bar, dining room and bedrooms are very comfortable and well appointed.

It's over 12 months since we last stayed at the CityNorth Hotel but in that time it has lost none of it's sparkle, from walking into the airy reception area to installing ourselves in our very comfortable room, to enjoying a meal in the restaurant, one is aware of the hardwork that goes into maintaining their high standards. The staff are attentative and friendly, always willing to help with any questions we had, The room was nice and warm, very comfy bed, and spotlessly clean. The food was very good, and plentyful, on more than one occasion i couldn't manage the desert course ! We were over to see a show at the O2 ( Jeff Waynes War of The Worlds, Live on Stage. 29/11/10) but getting there wasn't a problem as a coach picks you up outside the front door and returns you there after the show (€12 return), meaning no looking for somewhere to park and no need to avoid the drink !
The hotel is also good value for money as it compares very favourably with B&B prices but with the luxury of a fine hotel, add to this the fact that it is 20 mins from Drogheda and about the same from Dublin, so you have the perfect base to explore or shop, or just have the craic. We WILL be back !

I would just like to pass on my praise to your hotel & staff who displayed outstanding customer service when they accomodated us on a last minute booking on 1/12/10 after the disruption of Ryan air flights due to the severe weather. Sabrina excelled in all aspects of customer service and is surely a gem of your team. Also noteable was the restaurant manager ( due to depart for NYC for holiday didnt get his name) also outstanding.
Their total attitude was one of everything could be sorted & nothing was too much trouble. Praise should also go to to the support staff at 4am when we departed & to lay on a contintal breakfast was superb.
Congrats to your team wouldn't hesitate to stay again or recommend.

Stayed in City North for 2 nights, the night before & the night we got back from 2 weeks away.

Left the car there free of charge and got the courtesy bus to the airport which was also included in your stay.

The night we were due back our flight was deverted from Dublin to Belfast Airport.
I had been in contact with the reception girls, we had no idea when we would get to Dublin-nothing was a problem I just called the reception and they organised everything.

Dublin Airport was closed that evening and the hotel was extremely busy.

We arrived at the Hotel 1am approx. There was food organised for us and we actually got a suite-fab room. Had a couple of drinks and went to bed.

We found this Hotel a great location if you are going away on holidays.
Easy access, good value, car park seems safe. You book your time to be left to and from the airport.
The girls on the desk are very professional, courtesy and helpful.
If we ever go on holidays from Dublin Airport I will stay here again..thats for sure.

Thanks to all...

Great car-parking and airport shuttle deal, but make sure you leave enough time if you have a flight around morning rush-hour. The normal 20 min journey to the airport took 60 mins. But the hotel had warned us of this and we were in plenty of time. Very comfortable room with free internet. Good bar food. Friendly and very efficient staff. Breakfast could be better.
