booked a long stay at the hotel & was NOT impressed that when i made the booking i was NOT advised to book in advance the Spa Treatments so my wife & i missed out as the Spa was fully booked we were NOT IMPRESSED as it was part of the deal we booked,
the hotel is very nicley situated close to the motorway but they have a lot of weddings over the weekend & found our "Break" was spoilt by rowdy members of the weddings running around the hotel & swearing or shouting abuse at one another in jest, we was sat next to the piano (Behind the lift's) & someone from the wedding threw a bottle accross the floor lucky it didnt smash, the food is very good & came out at the perfect temprature BUT if you order room service for a bottle of beer like i did costing E4.60 i was horrified to find out that the hotel charge you 10 Euro's per visit to you room so the price of the "Tray Charge" was TWICE as expensive as the bottle of beer i wanted so it cost me Euro's14.60 for a bottle of beer..??? & when i asked a member of the staff "WHO" getts the "Tray Charge" they said that in the two years they had been working there they have never had any "Tray Charges" paid to them & it is in fact the Hotel that get's it..!!! this surely cant be right..??
on checkout i was NOT amused that the system's where that slow i was asked by a member of the reception team to come back in 5 minutes as they couldnt see my bill,i went back in five minutes & although the receptionist was very nice about it the telephones where ringing like mad & i wasnt amused to see the Deputy General Manager watching his staff struggle whilst he just stood there as he could of taken some of the calls, in total it took me nearly 15 minutes to check out & this indicates to me they need to invest in a new system or get a dedicated telephonist there, i wouldnt recomend this hotel although its a lovely place there is a sense of greed & ignorance from the senior managment there which tell's on the departments within the hotel,by the way its VERY expensive to stay there..& its NOT 35 mins from dublin its 45/50 mins...Enfield is a lovely place but we i agreed with other guests there that there is NOTHING to do there but drink in the bar we got borred after our 2nd day there & wanted to come home

  • Liked — location
  • Disliked — been lied to about the "Tray Charge" if it went to staff thats ok but it didnt it went to the hotel
