Tom & Eileen's Farm
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed July 27, 2014

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Eileen was very friendly and helpful in saving us 100 miles off our trip by showing us a ferry crossing. Breakfast was excellent. If you open your windows for the cool breeze, be prepared to hear the sounds of a farm. I enjoyed that, but if you don't, cool the room and close the window, and it's quiet.

Room Tip: Don't think there is a bad room.

What a lovely place to stay and what wonderful hosts! We highly recommend this B&B. The warm welcome and hospitality we were shown was over and above anything we have ever experienced. The country setting is fabulous, the room was so pretty and clean and Phena and Gerry went out of their way to make our stay perfect!

Stayed for 2 nights whilst travelling around Ireland, so glad we booked this lovely place.
Both Phena & Gerry were very warm, & hospitable.
They couldn't do enough to make our stay pleasurable.
Even left ice in my room so I could have a nightcap, what a lovely touch?

Would highly recommend this B&B. Sadly we had only booked for the one night. The house is lovely as are the spacious and lovely rooms. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was great with a varied menu available and the morning entertainment provided by Gerry during his waiter service! His stories and chat is not to be missed and he sent us on our way with smiles on our faces. Lovely family hope to visit them again one day.

Amazingly cozy and clean B&B. The rooms are spacious and decorated with quality furniture. Though located on the farm, the whole house is spotless. Our bathroom looked very new and very fresh which is normally not the case with B&B. The room was also very clean and fresh, free of any types of odors. Breakfast is abundant and freshly homemade. Phena and Gerry welcomed us with great hospitality. It really felt like we were invited to a middle-class family home in Ireland. This is absolutely no doubt the highlight of our around the (half) island trip! I cannot thank Phena and Gerry for this wonderful experience. Only regret is that we did not stay there longer.

Room Tip: There are only three or four rooms in the house so make sure you book in advance! I think it is actu...

We stayed at Tom & Eileen's Farm two nights, and I can say without reservation that it must be the best B&B in Ireland. This is a beautifully-maintained working farm. We strolled through the farm, playing with the cats and dog. Took a morning run up the hill--beautiful sights. The location is between the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula, and is easy to find. Phena and Jerry are perfect hosts, so warm and welcoming. Phena conversed with us each evening about our day, and Jerry kept us in stitches with his wonderful craic over breakfast each morning--and introduced us to Irish Mist in our oatmeal! (Great way to start the day!) The house and rooms are incredible--spacious, clean and absolutely beautiful. .We would have stayed here the entire time if we could. What a fantastic and memorable place!

Compared to all the other 4-star B&Bs we stayed in on our 2-week to Ireland, this was the best by far. It should be ranked as a 5-star. The building is older, but has been totally and elegantly renovated with all modern conveniences and the rooms are spacious. Even closets! The hosts, Phena and Gerry, were friendly and helpful with trip advice, and the breakfast was very good. We wished we could have stayed here longer.
