“Real hospitality”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 20, 2012

Stayed here for a night over the St Patrick's Day weekend as the place had been recommended to us by people who know the area well.
The friendliness and hospitality was genuinely fantastic and the evening meal delicious. The room was done up nicely but was on the small side. Breakfast was a real treat and included porridge with a drop of Drambuie in it (really sensational!) traditional fry and homemade scones and bread.

Seems to be very popular with both tourists and locals and the owners and staff went out of their way to make this a really excellent stay.

This is one of my favourite places to eat in the North West. I usually visit it once or twice a year when in Donegal. The food is delectable and the ambience is sumptous. The menu has the best of Irish food, locally sourced, lots of fish. Some of these 'fine dining' type joints can be overtly stuffy and stiff, but this place is relaxed and friendly. It has got its own character. A night out here will probaby set you back 55 euro or so with wine, etc, so it is a place to eat out on a special occasion or a night out.
I have never stayed here, so can't comment on the accomodation

Have had the honor to have two fantastic meals within Danny Minnie's both times were excellant. From the moment you enter and gather around the hearth awaiting your table you are treated like family. We are blessed to have been twice to this special place we consider Heaven on earth, that being Annagry and its people and this restaurant. A must visit while touring through this remote and richly blessed landscape of this enchanted place. We love Ireland and this area of Ireland will always hold a deeper meaning and celebrations held here with the Rodger's family are our most favorite of all and our most deeply held treasures from our travels to this beautiful land. Love to you there, wish we could be there right now. Gra' Dennis K. Yates and life partner, Kenneth G. Hartman.

Room Tip: Have not stayed within the B and B part as of yet, only dined here twice on two different trips.

This is a fantastic restaurant with the most fabulous food beautifully presented. They do a three course table d'hote dinner menu for 39.95 euros, which given the quality is fabulous value. The ambiance in the restaurant is lovely and the staff are the most friendly you will ever come across. If you're ever in the vicinity, do not miss the opportunity to eat here - I can not recommend highly enough!

I loved the decor of this restaurant but the compliments end there.
This restaurant has won many awards and I was excited to try it out.
The food reflected old style hotel food and was extremely over priced.

Had the most wonderful meal in this restaurant recently. The menu choice was excellent and it tasted just as good. Beautiful atmosphere in both the lounge & the restaurant, although quite a large fire blazing in the lounge on a nice balmy evening!! The staff were very friendly & attentive. 10 out of 10 for my 1st and hopefully not last visit.
