If you're a visitor to this world-renowned island of Phuket and you are looking to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the areas frequented by most tourists, here is a place that should make you feel like your second home. Hospitable, tranquil and private, the resort has a number of well-appointed villas ranging from one to four-bed rooms, with a private swimming pool. Each villa is fully equipped with kitchen and other amenities.

A personal touch is the most distinctive feature of this resort: owners would come and cook breakfast for you at your villa. Upon request, they would drive you to a wet market and shop for your own ingredients for your Thai-cooking class.

By the way, you can hire a driver here during your stay. Plan your day and just ask your driver to take you to places of interest in and around the island. You can also take a day trip to different islands off Phuket. If you don't feel like doing anything, just relax on the balcony and take in the breeze from the distant ocean.

We enjoyed our stay very much and din't feel we miss out on the typical street scenes on the main beaches. A perfect place for families with children; for couples who like to be pampered and anyone who simply wants to holiday in the privacy of their "second home".

We stayed in one bedroom villa from 12th Feb for 4days. It a place more of a home than a hotel with living room, a small kitchen, a big room with nice bed, a very big bathroom and a dressing room. Incuded a big pool share with 5 villas but most of the time you will has the pool for yourself.
Breakfast is serve in the kitchen with many varies of food, it is serve at the time that you request from 6am to 10am.
You can ask the hotel team to book the places you want to go example of Phi Phi island day trip, ladyboy show, Fantasea or adventure place like go-kart, ATV ride and many more.
You get free transport and a nice driver to take you any place but for only 9 hours, it abit short. You can pay extra 300 baht per hour if you need transport. Our driver Thorn is very nice and helpful athough some lauguage barrier. It a pity that we can only use the car till 10pm.
The bad part of this hotel is the location, it take 25min to Phuket town, 45min to Patong and like if you go for a island tour, the driver send you to the pier and send you back after the tour, the time in between the tour is used up even though you did not use the car. A few arrangments with the hotel is badly arrange, they didn't ask the driver from Fantasea to pick us up at our villa instead of the lobby. We call the hotel staff and ask her to tell the driver to drive down and pick us but the driver said no, it make us walk up the very steep road to the lobby, it take about 10-15min walk. Another arrangment is the massage, i have it upgrade to oil massage but paid 600baht per person, the staff didnt tell me that we are going out for the massage till the driver from the spa was here then the staff call me.
I like to thanks Wipa, Thorn and the rest of the team for the very nice stay in the hotel (residence), hope that you can improve the services.
Remember to book through the hotel website to get free stay if you planning to stay for 5 days or more and a car/4WD with a driver for 9 hours and free thai massage but not oil massgae. If you want to learn more of the hotel email Wipa, she is very helpful.

We stayed at the one bedroom villa. It had a big living room, big bed, big bathroom and a kitchentte. There was a 24X7 swimming pool with jacuzzi. 9 hours of car transportation. Breakfast in the villa. A 45 mins thai massage.

But the place is expensive considering its location. Its very far from most of the touristy places. if you are in phuket and want to have a good time in the beach, you have to plan your travel as it takes quiet some time to reach the Naiharn beach. It takes a lot of time to reach the more famous Patong beach.

The 9 hours of driver and car cannot be split in the day. One cannot stride away exploring the place since the villa is pretty remotely located on a hill top.

All in all its a good place to stay for families and couples but minus the phuket beach feel.

Every hotel deserves a fair review based on price vs what you get.

This residence has a good foundation, but for the prive paid, it needs some touch ups.

The good:
The private pools for each villa
The breakfast portions
The 9 consecutive hours of a driver per day
The view
The serenity

The bad:
The safe that doesnt work.
The air cons in two bedrooms that dont work.
The power failures.
The hot and cold shower (for some reason you only get 1 minute of hot water and then 2 minutes of cold water). This continues for the shower time.
The average food quality off the menu (greasy pad thai, oily spring rolls not really filled with anything)

The ugly:
Not getting what you paid for in the seafood bbq dinner (even after consulting with the 3 staff, no resolution was made). The idea of the more expensive meal is to gt the better quality fish. This was not what was delivered.

The summary:
If you charge 240USD per night, ensure things are working when guest check in and ensure what is promised, is delivered.

Language barriers featured frequently. Was frustrating at times.

I would say an average stay for the price.

The owner was very helpful and i can not fault them on their helpfulness and customer service.
All things that were broken, were fixed in due course except the multi temperatured shower and seafood bbq debacle.

Nothing else to say: This place is perfect. Beautiful, quiet, perfect service, wonderful team, you have a driver (included!), so you can get to every spot on the island. Wipa and her team take care of everything, just ask.

We booked a 3 bedroom villa during the new year holiday, The hotel is a perfect option for family stay and the service is great. it's a bit far from the beach. However, with the complimentary shuttle service you could easily access to every corner of the town. My mother in law got bone injuried just before we checked in, The hotel owner offered a lot of helps and the whole family really enjoyed our stay there. Thanks a lot, the rising star is definitely our top choice when we visit phuket next time.

This review has been overdue, my family stayed for a week, and upon arrival my children felt at home immediately. The layout of the one bedroom villa which we stayed was great and it has everything that we need. Love walking out to the pool and going everywhere with personal chauffeur. Wipa is a delight to know and attending her cooking class was the
Best thing I did on the trip. I could make Thai dishes now at home.

Love everything abt the villa and the lady who housekeep
And
