“Nice but expensive for what it is”
Reviewed June 3, 2014

We visited the botanic garden and enjoyed seeing all the different orchids and the different gardens on display but felt it was very expensive at 500THB per person, a must is having a chilled coconut in the garden after you have walked around!

It was ok - nothing special with the exception of the Butterflies which are great. Don't eat here, its not great. But a nice way to get out the sun/rain.

“Nice to see, away from the busy crowds.”
Reviewed May 20, 2014 via mobile

The price is a bit high but I think over time it will be worth it. Do not expect gardens to be like Europe. The walk around is interesting and it was nice to see school children learning about the plants. This in time will become a wonderful place to visit as the gardens mature. This is for people who need time away from busy resorts. I wish them luck

“One of the best attractions in Phuket!”
Reviewed May 19, 2014

Normally I'm not a person interested in this kind of attraction, that said I've been 4 times this year (2014).

It's only been open a year or so and is in pristine condition, you enter through a large gate and follow a winding road through the garden, branching off the main road are many smaller roads that lead to signposted 'themed' gardens, English, Japanese etc. There's a really nice Orchid area, small Butterfly enclosure, lake and smaller ponds full of colourful Carp.

As you walk around there are several undercover areas to rest and relax, there's a restaurant/shop near the exit, it overlooks one of the Carp filled ponds, you exit through a gift shop. When we were there they hadn't finished several small bungalows, it would be a very special place to spend a night or two.

Entry fees were more than reasonable, we would suggest taking some bottled water, hat and sunscreen. We spent more than 5 hours there on our first visit, a little less on subsequent trips.
