This Buddha is huge! Theres an amazing view on Phuket and islands around! Road up is tough, we rented a scooter to get there.

We were lucky to take in this wonderful sight but not really a great amount to see. Clearly a beautiful place of worship and well worth a visit if you can combine other places of interest in with your day. We paid a taxi 2000bht for the day and saw a lot of the island . A great way to get around the sights. Most flexible and not rushed at all .

Big Buddha impressively sitting right on top of a mountain. There are many other Buddhas such as the Monday to Sunday Buddhas at the vicinity. It says that you should pray the Buddha based on your day of birth. Great scenery! The view is magnificent. Time spending there is 1-1.5h. Suggest visiting Wat Chalong thereafter.

This places comes highly recommended...so off we went.

The place does offer great views of Phuket as this is on an elevation.

But we were mainly disappointed due to many reasons.....This is under construction...we have seen many other Buddhas that are much more tranquil.

This structure is massive. Beautiful and tranquil. A very spiritual experience. A must see location on your bucket list.

Seeped in history you immediately feel goosebumps. Covered up on the way in, of course out of respect and we left a donation, we climbed the stairs to the big Buddha, it’s not too hard, we had our names put on a tile to be added to the big Buddha. We were blessed by a monk for a donation. Amazing views and don’t forget to visit the souvenir shop on the way out. Definitely worth a visit

A big buddha, partially completed, made from polystyrene!! Abit of a shambles, i suppose its worth seeing but wouldnt go out of my way.

Full of ‘monks’ blessing people for money and other ‘monks’ trying to sell you little buddhas and other junk.
