“Amazing food, tranquil location!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 20, 2014

Having been recommended this place by a friend, decided to pay it a visit. Located overlooking the seafront, very tranquil and beautiful views across the crystal green and blue waters, with the occasional fishing boat passing by. Excellent waiters, with fluent English more than happy to explain the menu and take you for a tour through their kitchens with the live fish, crabs and lobsters in the display tanks. Settled on a few sea food dishes upon recommendation, mackerel with chilli paste and white snapper with lemongrass, garlic and ginger. the most beautifully cooked fish I have ever tasted! So fresh and juicy, and the flavours complimenting each other so well. The chilli paste brings a small fiery heat to the the sweet fish and the lemongrass combination was new flavour for me, which was delicious. All starters and mains we ordered were spot on. Would love to go back and sample more on the menu! Would definitely recommend if in the area!

“An excellent restaurant in Phuket”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 18, 2014

We stayed at the Patong beach area, but took a taxi to dine at this restaurant for seafoods.
The restaurant is located in Chalon Pier Area with a nice view of the Pier and ocean.
The majority of seating were outside, and the choice of foods included Japanese dishes as well.
We ordered Tom Yang Kung, the famous spice Thai soup follwed by spice seafood salad, mud crab cooked in curry sauce, and barbeque of a live white snapper.
The foods here is really good and tasty. Especially mud crab and barbequed white snapper was fantastic. We ordered a bottle of French champagne to match with foods.
Homemade passion fruit ice cream was divine while expresso was terrible. Don't order the expresso. I taste like expresso made of powder coffee!!
I will definitely dine here again.

“Seafront location for seafood delights”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 12, 2014

We were taken here by local friends and had an excellent evening.

The restaurant is large, very large but don't let that put you off. The location is lovely, right on the waterfront and as it is located on the quieter east coast of the island. And don't worry about biting bugs, as they provide you with repellant should it be needed.

The food is Thai & Chinese with a bias on seafood. We all ordered a range of food and shared.
The presentation and quality of the food was excellent, although we all remarked that the overall flavours did not make you really say WOW! Tasty but not exceptional.

Good service and reasonable price, especially when compared to resorts or the more expensive West coast.

The night we were there they had an excellent couple playing jazz and really lovely music.

Would recommend...

“Fantastic place to eat”

Great position by the pier, fab food, good service especially if you sit in the prime seats by the water. The meals are great value for money and the signature puddings are delicious!
