“Elephant Safari”
Reviewed August 6, 2013

Siam Safari Nature Tours is the genuine one with the money you pay going into the conservation of the elephants not like some with the money going into their pockets. There are different options available. You not only get to meet and ride the elephants who I might add are happy and well cared for you also can enjoy many other attractions like riding a cart pulled by a water buffalo, rice preparation, etc. You also have a wonderful Thai meal supplied. Great for all ages especially children to be able to interact with the baby elephants then ride the bigger ones. Money well spent for a great adventure with these gentle giants.

“Family trip to Thailand”
Reviewed August 5, 2013

This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Phuket and Thailand. It is an Elephant sanctuary which includes very well organised tours - in other words the Elephants are well cared for as far as we were concerned. The tour includes an Elephant ride and demonstrations on a number of other aspects of Thai life/culture. A very enjoyable trip and one that we would definitely recommend.

“Great day out.”
Reviewed August 5, 2013

We were picked up at our hotel and transported promptly to the attraction. On arrival we were warmly greeted and then the fun began. We moved around the many parts of this attraction and learned about the many different facets of Thai life.It was all very well organised and very interesting. The final part of the day was the elephant trek through the nearby jungle. It was a real highlight. The most enjoyable day and I would happily recommend the experience to anyone visiting Phuket.

“Toumust visit Siam Safari!”
Reviewed August 5, 2013 via mobile

Just had the most amazing experience at Siam Safari. Staff and elephants were amazing! We did the half day activity:
- water buffalo 'tuk tuk'
- rice exhibit
- coconut display
- Thai cooking
- baby elephant training (50 TBH for fruit to feed them)
- elephant trek (100-200TBH to feed them)
- lunch
Staff were brilliant.
Animals obviously very well cared for.
Lunch was delicious - veggies make sure to notify your booking agent before you go. The lunch was very carnivorous but they made 4 separate dishes for my hubby (rice, noodles, sweet and dour veg and stir fried veg): there was so much that he couldn't finish!
They are endorsed by several charitable organisations but do not make you feel obliged to contribute (donation box at meeting point). Drinks and souvenirs were well priced.
It was an amazing day. A 'must do' if staying in the area (if not, travel and go anyway!)!

“Highly recommend”
Reviewed August 2, 2013

If you don't want to waste a day going all the way to the Thai mainland to do an elephant trek (and even if you do - I'd recommend you look at this first) then this is for you. We took the 45min trek and absolutely loved it. So tranquil and it is plain to see that the Mahout's love their elephants and they are well looked after and cared for. They are a conservation organisation but they don't push this too hard - just a donation box at their headquarters. You learn about how elephants are trained and get to see some babies as well as ride the gentle giants. An absolutely awesome half day out which I highly recommend. Great value for money. Get the video too - worth it.
