“Once in a lifetime!”
Reviewed December 9, 2012

You must ride an elephant! For some, it could sound scary but not here. This place is extremely organized and pays attention to every detail. The guides are awesome and make you feel loved.

“Elephant treking with great views”
Reviewed December 5, 2012

My wife was really looking forward to this expereince, and she wasn't disappointed.

We just did the treking and not the other elements that you can do. But the whole thing was well organised and great fun. It was good to know that the elephants have been saved by being at this park, rather than just being exploited.

A few tips:
Take good mossie spray;
Have a few 100 THB ready to tip the mahout;
Don't point out large spiders in the trees unless you are prepared for the mahout to playfully grab it and show you!; and
Don't bother with the DVD, but look at the still photos they take.

“Elephant treking”
Reviewed December 2, 2012

A good value half day tour with transport provided from the hotel. It gives a real insight into the traditional Thai way of life. The tour shows examples of rubber tapping , rice growing, and coconut processing. We also took a 30 min Elephant ride through some lovely scenery with good views of Chalong Bay. The tour concludes with an excellent Thai buffet meal

“Better Than expected”
Reviewed November 29, 2012

We booked this tour from home about 3 months before we left for Phuket at the request of our Aunty who wanted badly to ride an elephant. After sifting through what was available this looked liked the best tour to take but i was not convinced that it would be so good. After being picked up and whisked away up the mountain to the safari camp and then arriving at the camp, everything seemed to be well organised. Our guide was Joy and she was just that. She was very pleasent with a fantastic sense of humour which is very difficult seeing that english is not her native tongue. After mustering at the main camp we were all seperated into groups and shuffled off to different stations to start learning. We learnt about Rubber tapping, Thai cooking, rice growing, Buffalos and of course Elephants. At the end of our time at the safari camp we had the obligatory elephant ride which was just fantastic. After all of the safari stuff was over a small group of us headed down to Chalong Bay to board a junk for a very peaceful and tasty lunch whilst sailing around the bay in the cool breeze. This tour was just way over and beyond what i had expected it to be like. We loved every minute.
