1: too dense, over constructed, garden is manipulated all transplanted, area is noisy with rapid construction, rooms not sound proof and not shielded from noise, none of my friends i met slept well

2: after a 2 month stay my bank account was inaccessible for some days i agreed credit with reception and spontaneously some days later management threatened immediate payment or police

Cocoville offers amazing value, with clean rooms and located within walking distance from the Muay Thai training camps. The food at the restaurant leaves much to be desired, however there are plenty of other dining options in the surrounding hotels, so the lack of decent food isn't a huge issue.

PS - set amidst forested much greenery, don't forget the insect repellent, there are more mosquitoes than people at Cocoville!

If you are training at Tiger Muay Thai Camp this small hotel/resort is a great place to stay! Very short walk to the camp facilities and even shorter scooter ride (scooter hire cost around $30 for 6 days). We had half of the bungalow which was a decent size room with a king size bed (very comfy/firm), modern bathroom and even a big fridge. Other room amenities included A/C, safe, a rack to dry clothes/towels, room service upon request. Staff at the hotel is very accommodating, polite and swift. Resort grounds are surrounded by lush gardens which were trimmed and watered every day by men gardeners. I loved the swimming pool! There are 2: perfect for laps or just lounging and basking in the sun! There is a restaurant in the lobby which serves good breakfast/lunch/dinner; however, it is a bit more expensive than other places nearby like Mamma’s or Tony’s. There is also a massage room where one can get a 1hour Thai massage for about $10!! Overall great resort I will definitely stay again if come back to train at TMT!

This is a beautiful little hotel. it is set in the hills in phuket and has been built in the forest. The owners told me it took 8 months to build paths through the forest and build to individual rooms and apartments and they have 3 gardeners to maintain it. certainly for the week i was there, there was always someone tending the gardens. This is NOT the place to go for a wild nightlife or shopping, but when you look at how much it can cost to go to some upmarket "chain" hotel spa/ and look at what you get here it is an absolute bargain. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the owners made a point of talking to guests which made it feel more personal and friendly. i will definitely be back at some point in the future. if you need time to relax body and soul go here.

I stayed at Cocovilla last year for a month in December. I had a great time and the service and friendliness of the staff was impeccable. I'm heading back to Phuket later in the year and plan to stay again at Cocovilla. Highly recommend. Nick

Room Tip: Go the Deluxe room.. Much nicer than the others and worth the extra few dollars.

Look no further and stay no where else but at paradise, the Cocoville Resort located amongst several Muay Thai training and fitness camps. This was my 2nd visit in 10 months and the hotel, service, staff and management were outstanding once again. It was home, I felt comfortable and at ease. Others were still there from my last visit. Now that tells you something.

Room Tip: Rooms with views to the Big Budha
