Many of the original beams are used in the support structures and in the front public bar where the counter dates back before the 1970's. There are many unique displays scattered throughout the property including a letter sent from a passenger on board the titanic the day of its first and only sailing. There is General Tom Thumb's Jacket, The football & tickets used in Croke Park on Bloody Sunday in 1928 along with many other sporting memorabilia and genuinely traditional Irish pieces. This property is one of Irelands most famous eateries known all over the land for its ability to cater for all tastes and pockets it has Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner available all day every day. The large open plan Kitchen adds to the atmosphere and theatre of the property. Catering for large crowds on busy days is part and parcel of what makes The Poitin unique. If you are travelling on the M50 and need a place to stop for good food, look no further than the Poitin Stil. The food is always terrific and the service is quick. Very reasonably priced and good portions too! You can't go wrong with the steak on the stone or one of the burgers!

I have eaten in the Poitin Stil on numerous occasions and it has never disappointed! There is a large selection of starters, mains and desserts to choose from and the service is always excellent, with the waiters going out of their way to ensure you are being looked after. I would recommend the steak on the stone or the Venison which are both mouthwatering, and also great value for money as they are large portions you will definitely not leave feeling hungry! There are lots of starters to choose from, with the seafood chowder and the tempura prawns being my favourite. The desserts are homemade and are all delicious! Would definitely recommend a visit - amazing food and great staff!

We are regular visitors to An Poitin Still for dinner and drinks. Every time we eat here we are always satisfied with the food and service. The food is always quick moving and freshly cooked for a carvrey. The portions will certainly not leave you hungry. The price is very reasonable for what you get. Eating in the restaurant is also a great experience, great steak, burgers and seafood. Keep it up.

Myself an herself had dinner here New years eve the place was full to the rafters I can only assume it was booked out!there was a set menu of 5 courses for 27.95 and the menu blew me away outstanding starters we're fantastic o had the Cesar with a twist and she had the prawns presentation was fantastic our mains were equally as good I had the monkfosh and herself had the lamb both.full of fantastic flavours this place is a real gem!!Shane was our waiter and he was fantastic normally Sean looks after us but I believe he was dealing with bigger groups that evening even with that he too managed to pop over and say hello and make sure everything was ok!!the management Dave and Beth both spoke to us and every other table on the restaraunt on such a busy night and considering I'm sure that they too were very busy I was very appreciative of this. All n all it is an amazing night great staff especially the two lads Sean and Shane they are a credit to themselves and are and would be such an asset to any business!over all the best place in Ireland to eat for good food full of flavours at a reasonable price with service that is worth every penny n more keep up the good work lads your business is going from strength to strength and is been talked about in a good way all over kind regards 1 very happy coustmer
