All 6 of us were so pleased to spend the few days with you in your lovely Bed & Breakfast. Everything was wonderful, from the room, to the breakfast, and location outside of Dublin city center. The views from each room were amazing and it was very relaxing and quiet. Thanks again for everything! Marian & Ed.

6 friends had a super time at Elizabeths Bed and Breakfast in Rathcoole. Nothing was too much trouble. Beds comfortable, food good and an ideal place to base yourself with Dublin an easy ride away on the bus. Lovely countryside all around. would definately go again. Thanks Elizabeth. Julia and John

This was our first B&B in Ireland and we could not have asked for a better stay. The room was very nice with an amazing view of County Dublin. The B&B was easy to find and very charming. We were given excellent recommendations for dinner and breakfast was great! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Our last B&B from our holidays in Ireland was also the best. Very friendly family and a very good breakfast, with fresh fruit and cool water with fresh slices of orange and mint added.
We have had some good tips from Elizabeth. For going to Dublin, with the tram in stead of by car. Whitin 10 min. drive to the parking place and further by tram (every 5 min.) to the centre of Dublin in ca. 10 min., for €12,- (includes parking and tram 2 persons).
We also had a good tip to visit Wicklow mountains, and a tip for a good and cheap diner at the Poitin Stil in Rathcoole . We enjoyed it a lot and we would like to recommand the B&B to everyone who reads this review.

My partner and I stayed at Bearna Rua Lodge for three nights on a recent trip to Dublin. We had booked the B&B last minute and were pleasantly surprised. We arrived very early in the am but this was no trouble to the owner Elizabeth who greeted us and was very friendly, providing us with lots of helpful information about the area.

The B&B is very well maintained and our room was very clean with everything we needed during our stay including information on local attractions and the all important Hairdryer! The breakfast room was very bright and pleasant and we were given the option of continental or cooked breakfast. We tried both during our stay and cannot compliment either enough. Absolutely delicious - compliments to Elizabeth again!

A nice addition to our stay at Bearna Rua Lodge was the art work on display throughout they house. Both Elizabeth and her son are very talented artists and their work is on display throughout the B&B, with some pieces available for sale.

The location is ideal, far enough from the hustle and bustle of Dublin but very accessible to public transport including the red cow Luas. The location of the B&B allows for the most spectacular views over the city of Dublin and is particularly beautiful at night!

All in all we had an amazing stay at Bearna Rua Lodge and couldn't have asked for a better introduction to Dublin. Both Elizabeth and her family were excellent, very helpful, friendly and charasmatic. We will def recommend this B&B to friends and are already planning our next trip to Ireland where we hopefuly be able to visit the wonderful Bearna Rua Lode again!

This was located very well in proximity to Dublin. We stayed only one night. We arrived a bit too early and the hostess was a little bothered. We apologized and just wanted to drop off our luggage and get ready to see Dublin. We took the public transport ( great!) very clean and efficient and cheap. We had a very good breakfast the next day. I didn't really know what to expect because it was our first one and first time to Ireland.
