We have been regulars staying with Jo and Simon for the last two years. The lovely, cosy, character house is in a beautiful setting central to the various ski slopes in the area and also ideal for walks right from the property. Simon and Jo are excellent hosts with a good knowledge of the area, the ski slopes and all things you will need to ensure you have a good time on the slopes. From the moment you are transferred from the airport nothing is too much trouble for your hosts meaning you can exert yourself on the slopes in the day time knowing that you do not have to think about anything else for the rest of the holiday - transfers to and from the house to the slopes and a roaring fire and dinner ready when you return in the evening (after stopping at the bars on the way back if you wish). Jo's cooking is exceptional - it is that good that you will not look forward to the one night in the week that you have to go out to a local restaurant to eat. Simon (action man) is a real outdoor type full of ski advice and good at motivating you so that you get the best out of your time on the slopes. The only house rule I am aware of is no outdoor shoes in the house - meaning you can relax and just have a great time. The whole experience is thoroughly recommended.

Part of me doesn’t want to write this review as I like to keep good things to myself but here goes:

My family and I have been regular guests with Jo and Simon since 2005 when my wife bought me a four day summer activities holiday as a fortieth birthday present.

September 2005: The activities consisted of a gorge walk, mountain biking, quad biking and canyoning. All of these things were good fun but what made them truly GREAT fun were Simon and Jo. Simon’s knowledge and judgement were first class and his enthusiasm was infectious, combine that with Jo’s outstanding cuisine and you had the makings of a perfect holiday.

February 2006/7/8: Our family skiing holidays with Jo and Simon have always been perfect, so much so that we’ve returned three times. Simon is a brilliant ski guide, chauffeur/baggage handler, child entertainer (our kids love him) and host. Jo, the other half of a winning partnership, is a great chef, her house is always spotless and she makes you feel very much at home. This year we brought along some friends who have skied for many years at some of the best Alpine resorts. On their return home they told everyone that they enjoyed this holiday the most and they have asked me to book us all in for next year, which of course I will.

We're regulars with Pyrenean Activities, we think it would be hard to find a better overall package. Simon and Jo provide a very professional service, everything is well organized, airport transfers, equipment hire, and day to day transport to and from the ski resorts.
Simon has excellent knowledge of the many local resorts, which can match whatever your skiing requirements or abilities may be.
Jo's cooking is a revelation, really first class, superbly presented and inventive evening meals, taking everyones tastes, including the kids into consideration.
In short, you won't be disappointed, a great holiday, where you can kick back and take it easy, knowing everything is organized for you. We love it

Enjoyed a wonderful weeks skiing, with fantastic hosts Simon and Jo. Very cheap flights to Perpignan with Ryanair. Transfers from / to airport included. Simon sorted all our skiing out, from ski hire to lessons and ensured we challenged ourselves with a number of different ski stations. Jo's cooking just excellent. Accommodation like home from home, very comfortable and relaxing. Great hospitality all round. Recommended and we're going again next year.
