Beautiful well restored chateau with very friendly staff ( Alison & Aukje) Lovely breakfast every morning. Small number of guest so you really have the place to yourself. Lovely pool surrounded by lavender. Bikes available for cycling aound vineyard. There is a reception room almost per guest bedroom so plenty privavcy to relax and most importantly- the Chateau's own wine is superb!
Can be tough to find local restaurants open on Sunday/Monday unless you drive a little bit.

We were so lucky to have the place to ourselves for the first two nights of our stay, and then only one other couple on our last night. The domaine has been beautifully decorated and furnished, with large rooms, beautiful en-suites and a series of fantastic communal lounges (inclusing a cinema room). Antje and Alison are the sweetest hostesses you could ask for, serving a lovely breakfast spread each morning in the fabulous gardens and apertifs in the evening, and Nick was hilarious company and kindly took us around the estate. Antje also did the wine tasting for us as the wine team were out at a festival, and it was fascinating. Would definitely recommend staying there and would be perfect for a big family gathering who wanted to rent out the whole place.

Cannot rate this place enough. Myself and my husband stayed here for the first two nights of our honeymoon and our only regret was that it wasn't long enough! We arrived slightly early and while our room (Baron) wasn't quite ready, this didn't matter as we were taken straight to the pool and given towels and a bottle of cold rose. The perfect welcome!! Everyone in the domaine was so helpful and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the vineyard, the wine tasting, the tasting of the eau de vie and the information provided by the staff about the area. Nick, Sarah, Alison and another staff member whose name we unfortunately can't remember, were such great hosts, the breakfasts each morning out by the pool were wonderful and the tapas style dinner on the second night was magical. Thank you again and we are already planning our return trip (hopefully sooner rather than later)!!!

We went here for a wine tasting, which was lovely and we learned a lot about the cultivation and production of the wine. The tasting was well done, and with a generous tapas buffet and recommendations on the pairing to really get the most out of the tasting. One complaint is that when we booked the tasting at mid-day on an extremely hot day with two children, we asked whether the kids would be able to use the pool. We were told they could - but when we arrived they changed their mind and didn't want the "guests" (not sure what we were) bothered. Minor detail - but could have been handled better.

A beautiful domaine producing wonderful wines. The B&B was absolutely marvellous; the rooms were simple but very comfortable and we had everything we needed from good showers to, forgive me, strong wifi and internet.

We were looked after like family, there was nothing that was too much to ask, and the breakfast was lovely; sitting outside by the pool in the gardens.

The house is big and impressive and, as you would expect, very French, its set in wooded grounds of it's own surrounded by acres of vineyards. The make their own wine which we buy in the UK for our business, and it's delicious!

Ii's very close to the port of Meze which is delightful, but if you also like peace and quiet, the French rural countryside, traditional B&B, great wines and a lovely district then this would be the perfect choice.

We will return; as soon as possible!

Room Tip: There are just 4 but they are all good.
