In a quiet village yet within easy reach of so many wonderful places to visit. The coast is lovely (Gruissan, Narbonne-plage) the surrounding countryside is great (Abbaye de Fontfroide, Lagrasse, wine tasting) but if you just want to relax, the house and grounds are just perfect. Have a dip in the pool, catch some rays, read a book, have another dip then, later, sundowners on the patio and a barbecue. What's not to like?
Thanks for an awesome regenerative holiday, loved the little town .Would come back in a heartbeat, we loved our stay.
Beautiful and spacious house with everything you might need for a great holiday (loads of equipment in the kitchen, plenty of books, games, DVDs, hair dryer, pool towels, cool bag etc). The kids really enjoyed the pool, which stays really warm even on cloudy days. The village is very quiet so you can really 'get away from it all'. The bar wasn't serving food while we were there, but it's only a short drive to Narbonne and other small towns with restaurants. We enjoyed the water park Aquaviva at Carcassonne plage. Super friendly and helpful owners who made us feel really at home - thanks for a great holiday!
This place is incredible, the house was very homely, I have not a bad word to say. The thing that really stood out is the heated pool. We had hours of fun.
Would defiantly recommend
Will be coming back soon!
St Andre de Roque Longue is a lovely quiet village, and very relaxing. There are a number of interesting historic places to visit, such as Carcassonne, Salses, the abbeye de Fontfroide and Narbonne. So if you are looking for a place that is central to these lovely locations, and also within driving distance of the beach, this is the place to stay.
This will give you a real 'French' experience, with all amenities that you could need.
The villa is located in a beautiful typical French village. The residents are friendly, and the local shops do their best to help with your English requests. The local Abbeye de Fontfroide is amazing. The vineyards surrounding the village are spectacular. As are the poppies in season. The villa is well appointed, with every amenity you could wish for. And the pool is the icing on the cake. Ample parking. Easy half hour drive to Narbonne and the beautiful beaches. Lots of history.
