Took a trip to the Birds of Eden with the family and had a great time. Even though the weather was a bit miserable it didn't matter as we were protected by all the trees. We've been a couple of times and the kids love it - it's a bit of an adventure for them !

This is the second largest avery in the Southern hemisphere, the gardens were designed by the same peole that did the Lost City, Souhern Suns Hotel.you gets to see birds you would never see flying around in there own habitate. A lot of thought and effort has gone into this bird avery.

Our family had a great time here - you see an amazing number of birds and can get up very close and take great pictures. The whole experience was excellent - if you are considering it, don't hesitate!

Birds of Eden is the only one of its kind in the world! It's mega-dome structure covers 2 hectares of indigenous forest where a wide variety of indigenous and exotic birds live freely together. The walk through is STUNNING! Picture wooden walkways and suspension bridges, vines, a trickling stream, waterfalls, ponds, and more. The photographic opportunities are endless and I could easily spend hours there. Great for couples, families, tour groups - everyone!
