We stayed one week at the redford house in February 2012. There are 2 rooms in the main house and 2 cottages. Each room is lovely decorated. Colleen prepares an extraordinary delicious home cooked breakfast every morning which is served on the terrace of the beautiful pool house on hot days and within their private house on colder days.

The best is the amazing surroundings the wonderful big garden, bush, forest, hills and the little lake within the property.

The owners Colleen and Clive are outstanding personalities, funny, caring and always friendly, providing you with travel advice as well as the funniest stories.

We travelled 6 weeks through the country and got to know a lot of nice B&B´s.
For us is the Redford House- the best accomodation in South Africa!!!

Clive and Colleen are the perfect hosts. I am here for about the 5th time to take part in an art workshop with Greg Kerr. I couldn't wish for better accommodation and comfort in a most beautiful setting. Colleen's catering is superb and there are lovely walks to do in the early mornings or evenings - after the art. there,s also a pool and a tennis court. The stars at night are an added bonus too!

Room Tip: Any room is great.

We had a wonderful 2 nights with Colleen & Clive. Redford House is in a stunning country setting only 25/30mins from Plettenberg Bay so made a perfect base (much cosier then anything we saw in "Plett". It was so nice to be able to come back & lounge around the fireplace in the evenings. The rooms are beautifully decorated, large & extremely comfortable. We were travelling with our 8 month old baby & had ample room for a travel cot in our bed room. We stayed in the Noble House which has 2 upstairs bedrooms (with ensuites). Downstairs is a huge lounge area with open fire places, big comfy sofas & lots of interesting books! This area is only shared between the top 2 bedrooms. It was a lovely cosy area to relax & either plan the day or unwind at night. One night we ate dinner with Colleen & Clive, Colleen is an amazing cook and we had a thoroughly enjoyable dinner & conversation.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & will definately include Redford House on our next trip to South Africa.

Room Tip: We stayed in one of the Noble House rooms and it was absolutely stunning. Both rooms have an ensuite with bath. Downstairs is a huge shared lounge area (for the 2 bedrooms only) with open fire places, comfy sofas & lots of books
