I stayed in the Home Hotel Da'an for five nights during a business trip to Taipei in early October. Although the hotel adopts a minimalist approach to it's signage, making it a slightly confusing process to find on the street at night time, once inside the lobby, you begin to realise what a good choice you have made in picking this hotel.
The ground floor contains a concierge desk (with very approachable staff), a seating area with custom designed furniture, and access to the connected restaurant, all of which is styled to a very high level.
The reception is found on the fifth floor, and follows a very similar style pattern as the lobby, if not slightly more stylish. One stand-out sensory impact you find immediately is the smell of incense, which is wonderfully relaxing.
I stayed in one of the designer loft rooms, which I referred to as the Hunter's Lodge. The room is designed by the Taiwanese Interior Designer TigerMilk, and the room is gorgeous (see pictures for proof!).More
