It was my 3 rd visit to taipei and the other times I've stayed at Top Hotels.
This time my budget was tighter and I wanted a good Hotel, but not too expensive.
I've found the Howard plaza at less than half the price of the Grand Hyatt or Sheraton that I've stayed before and I must say is a much better value for money. is still 5 stars, it has a gym, a pool and excellent service. The only down is that is an older hotel.
At arrival I was surprised that I hade a room on the executive floor with a series of extra amenities, free food, 2 pieces of laundry, breakfast in different room and a better room. It was excellent and in the last day I spent a few hours at the lounge before going to the airport.
The room was big and comfortable, the wi-fi worked well, the breakfast was good, and the staff was very friendly.
Maybe some will say is a bit dated, but the quality is still there.More
