Super friendly atmosphere and staff, we went just after 9pm on a Saturday night for a drink, despite that we did not eat anything, the service were great and friendly. This is very good for a prime restaurant like this, and that’s why I love this place always.

The dining experience at Kanpai is truly a treat! However, you must be warned – to fully enjoy the experience you must have the ability to converse in mandarin.

Staff are welcoming, engaging, cheerful... they literally spread happiness in the room.
Their interactive fun session at 8pm is not to be missed!!!

This is popular among young people. Nearly all customers and the staffs are young people. On the night I was there, half of the customers were from Hong Kong. The atmosphere is vibrant but the food is just average. The beef is said to be from Australia but is of mediocre quality. At eight there is a function cheering the customers up and another beer is given as gift.

When I stay in Taipei, this Restaurant is one of my "must visit" ones. The food is rather cheap and very tasty. The people are very friendly and supportive.

My wife and I will definitely visit Kanpai (they have many branches and every one of them is good!) whenever we are in Taiwan. The cow's tongue is a must try! The service is very good and very friendly staff will help you to cook your food if necessary, especially the King Prawns. At 8pm everyday, it is 干杯（Kanpai) time and whatever drinks that you have, they will give you another one for FREE! Before 8pm, a staff will be going from table to table to have a chat with you and ask for your permission to introduce you to the crowd during the Kanpai Session. Very interesting!
