It was the first time I stayed in hostel and I like it very much.
I stayed in the dorm room with 6 beds and had everything I need: tea, coffee, bread all day,water refilled.
Good buffet breakfast with lots of selections.
Good location: 5 min walk to Taipei main station, 10 min walk to Ximending night market.The hotel staff was helpful and polite.
Highly recommend!
We visited Taipei during 31Jun-7Jul19 and stayed at Moshamanla Hotel Main Station ( Former Diary Hotel Main Station )Thank you for a valuable, clean & comfortable and we have a wonderful stay at the hotel.
The location is fantastic from Taipei Main Station which less than 5 min walk from exit Z10 or exit M4/ 5 for Taoyuan MRT to/ from Airport.
The hotel surrounded by minimarts, foods, fresh fruits shops, also shopping malls - Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, Qsquare, Breeze and underground mall and Eslite book store which is super convenient to move around Taipei city and all travel spots near and far by using MRT, High speed train, Bus also you can walk 15 min to Ximending shopping area.
Thank to Taipei City with all English together with Chinese characters to all streets, bus stops which so helpful for all travelers when moving around.
- a tip for you when you would like to travel with bus at the bus stop, when you see your bus number coming your way, you will need to hail, waving it otherwise it will not stop for you.
From station to/ from Moshamanla Hotel with your luggage you can use escalator from M5 to street level or use elevator to Shin Kong Mitsukoshi to street level as Z10 Exit only with stairs.
Sample of what provided on Breakfast : Porridge, noodle, bun, stir flies vegetable, and more of Chinese/ Asian dishes plus Coffee, Tea, Soy milk, hot/ cold water, Bread with Yam/ Butter and Toast. ( No Milk & Cornflake )
The hotel also provide Coffee/ Tea/ Water with Toast 24/7.
Also most of staff could understand English and helpful.
We also booked Moshamanla Hotel for our next trip already.

We stayed here 3 nights at the end of a Taïwan travel adventure for 3 weeks. The one star is for location (close to airport MRT station) The hotel overall is kinda gross. Not very clean and there is a ton of luggage behind the front desk at all times. The rooms are not very clean and we were not impressed after 3 weeks in nicer hotels. The Air conditioning leaked water through the wall and looked like there was mold building up. There's also no soundproofing. Not recommended whatsoever, there's 5 better hotels down the street for the same price.

Easy walk from Taipei Main Station. Cosy, clean and neat rooms. Good Wi-Fi. Pleasant and efficient service. Provided woollen blanket in a jiffy upon request when I needed one to deal with my flu. Convenient breakfast with good coffee available all day. A perfect place to stay to explore Taipei.

The hotel is at great location near with Taipei Main Station in 5/8mins walk and plenty of local restaurants around as well as big department store nearby. The staff were generally helpful and friendly. Room was reasonably clean but small but good enough if you just need a clean bed and bathroom and spending most of your day outside. And there are rooms with no window, you have any phobia, do remember to double check when making reservation.
