One of the popular places to shop for garment, you don't go to the shopping mall to buy something in taiwan, you go to the street shop! Be prepared & rest your leg because there's just so much shops & food you'll suffer from leg sores from walking.

Try out the bubble tea, i've forgotten the name but if you see crowds queuing up for it, that should be it. The sweetness of the tea is just right, bubble is so soft! Love it!

Can spend many hours here shopping. But do walk around to find the cheapest prices. Many shops have different prices for the same item. More consolidated & easier to walk than wufenpu

First time at gong guan shopping area - it is relatively smaller than those bigger night markets like Shilin but shopping can be quite decent still.

The place has more modern eateries and less of the Taiwanese street foods - you can find burgers, pastas and even Pizza Hut. It must be the influence of a more mixed bag of audience in this university /school town.

Head over if you have exhausted yourself of the other bigger markets. This could be a slight change :)

I wouldn't even call this a 'shopping area', since the highlights of this place seem to be the eats. Apparently when the authorities cracked down on the illegal vendors at Shida Night Market, many of them, especially those selling food, moved to Gongguan.

And there're definitely many, many good places to eat here. Your best bet is to follow the crowd - where there's a queue, it's likely to be good.
