Cons: BED BUGS- The place has bed bugs, got bitten already on the first night of the stay. Unfortunately they crawled into my luggage, so now I am fighting them at home. Completely spoiled our whole trip.Also, their breakfast is just ok

Reached hotel at 8 pm+ and was checked-in by a man with a sour face and unfriendly demeanor! Bathing is inconvenient - got to 'climb' into a square bathtub and water will wet the whole toilet despite using shower curtain. Breakfast area is like a big canteen - open and noisy. Thankfully, hotel room is big and bed is soft and comfortable; and provided good sleep. There were more staff at the check-in counter in the morning and I was provided with better service when I left my luggage there for awhile after checking-out.
Very good location right opposite Ximending and comes with free breakfast which was decent. We had 5 rooms and requested for connecting rooms/ rooms next door very early on although they were not able to provide us with these, they tried to give us rooms all on the same floor which was appreciated. They have many room options, some without a window. One issue we had however was that the room we stayed at was very smelly (think some issue with their drainage system in the bathroom), and things only got worse day by day. However, as we were not in the hotel room much, we did not bother to ask for room change (especially since we also wanted to stay on the same floor as our other family members).
This Hotel is Centrally located. Located just infront of Ximen Market. 2 Exits to the MRT are in front.
Reception is located on the 13th Floor. Elevators bit small and quite slow.
Since it was past 3pm our room was ready. I just gave my passport and payment and room key was given.
The room i got had an interesting design and i loved it. Room fully carpeted, has a 24 inch LCD Cable TV, Kettle for Tea and Coffee, Mini Ref, Safe, desk.
Sink was located outside the bathroom. Bathroom had a small tub. Toilet had an electric bidet.
Room overall was cool, clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was buffet and had a pretty food range of choices. Liked the Congee and Pork Rice.
It was overall a good place to stay, close to everything and good staff.
We stayed at this branch of Green World hotels for six nights over Chinese New Year - spread over several floors and close to the heart of Ximending, this hotel has a great location and also offers a nice breakfast buffet every morning (very busy over the CNY period).
We were allocated a room on the third floor and whilst although it was everything we needed and incredibly clean, I was a little disappointed with our window view (literally a view of other people's apartments) so our room was always quite dark.
The room was always very clean though and the bed super soft and comfy - we also received a gift of free soft drinks on Chinese New Year Day, a nice little touch. Also, the toilet in our bathroom was the best hotel one ever - a heated seat and all!
One downside is that this hotel is over thirteen floors but only has two lifts so they can take a long time to reach you during peak periods like breakfast.
I liked this hotel, and the staff very friendly (especially our cleaner) but I would probably only stay here again if I upgraded to a room on a higher floor with a view.
Tip - the Sushiro place next door is incredible value but go early otherwise there is a two hour waiting time
We stayed two nights on our trip to Taipei. We couldn’t be happier with the location, right in the heart of Taipei, cross the street from Xi Men Ding, walking distance to Taipei Main Station and walking distance to Ximen Station.
Hotel provides nice little breakfast as well as comfort room for sleeping. It’s good for two of us. Decoration was modern and room was equipped with standard hotel stuff. They were willing to keep our luggages till night prior to our flight. Will come back and stay here again next time.
