Good business hotel

This was a convenient hotel for a business trip. The location is good. The breakfast menu is decent too, and on top of the all-you-can-eat section you can also choose a main menu to go with (bowl of pork noodles, etc.).

A return to my favorite hotel in Taipei

I stayed at this hotel in December and the staff were so wonderful I returned again in May. Because I was a returning guest and because it was my birthday they upgraded me to a nicer room and even gave me a little cake and card on my birthday. It really is the staff that makes this hotel so wonderful. Nancy one of the receptionists went out of her way to help me and Sam the doorman gave me the benefit of his extensive knowledge of where to go and where to eat in Taipei. I hope the management realize what treasures these two staff members are. I am sure that the other staff are good, but these two were the most helpful during my stay.

Great Home Away from Home

Well.. it is simply a great place to be. Great rooms, great staff and great location.

The staff also advises on day trips to other places you may visit. I visited Jiufen, Yehliu, Shifen waterfall and Pingxi because of a driver tour guide recommended by the staff.

This hotel is near the MRT subway and right across the a major bus stop route.

Highly recommended!!

Will choose this hotel whenever I can.

Visited 3 years ago and really love their family room. This year, we tried it again and it didn't disappoint. True, the property is dated, but they were maintained at highest possible level. Further, there are more eatery/restaurant choices very near to hotel now, probably due to new hotels opening up nearby (or literally next to it).

Near to subway stations (5 min walk to Green line and 10 min walk to Blue line). Albeit there are time when a transfer to another line is required compared to staying near Taipei main station, but, what's the hurry, I am on holiday :)

Will choose this hotel whenever I can.

Room tip: Family room is always my choice

Excellent service

We stayed for 2 nights in January. The room was spacious and well maintained. The buffet breakfast was of good quality. In addition to the food on the table, they also offered a dish for each person from a specialty menu.

The reason for a 5-star rating was its initiatives. Staff at the front desk followed through every question / issue that we had. When we were waiting at the lobby for our limousine, they took the initiative to offer drinks to us, not to mention that they took our luggage to the car. The smile and friendliness were impressive.
