This is the second time we are staying here. Even though the hotel is old, it has been well maintained. You can tell that the owners Evergreen Group spent money to get top quality fittings and furnishings. These fittings and furnishings are still in a very good condition. The hotel is conveniently located near 2 MRT stations and is in a central location. Most parts of Taipei city are only a short train/taxi ride away. The staff in the hotel are well trained and extremely efficient. Each time we return, we get a warm welcome. Staff will chat with us and ask us whether the recommendations that they have given us for places to eat and visit worked out for us. This hotel has become one of our go to hotels in Taipei!

I stayed at Evergreen Laurel as my client put me up there. I do not know what the rate was. I was a single business traveller

I was "upgraded" to a larger room which had a queen size bed and had an extra single bed, serving me no purpose, taking up the space in the larger room.

The shower leaked all over the floor in the bathroom.

The breakfast was very local and ordinary.

I will seek to have my client put me elsewhere next time.
