The pavillion is beautiful and the scenic view in front of the temple is great. I like the green stone wall at the back of the temple so much.

Absolutely beautiful temple overlooking Sun Moon Lake. It’s incredible ornate, and gorgeous and you can spend an hour or two just walking the grounds. Some great vistas for pictures as well. Definitely worth a look.

I spent way more time here at the Wenwu Temple complex than I intended because there is so much to see and experience here as you work your way up the hill from one temple to the next. And the views from the roof at the top down to the lake are off-the charts amazing!

It is one of the main attractions in Sun Moon Lake area, but it is a little bit difficult to access, since there is no wharf of tourist ships nearby. You can take a round lake bus, or walk from Shuishe (about 3 Km). The temple is gorgeous, and you can enjoy a nice view of the lake.

Lots to see. Nice architecture. Love the serene park at the top with the koi pond. A must do when you’re at the Sun Moon Lake area.
