Was here for a weekend for fun but my partner wasn't feeling well so we spent most of the day in the room. The room was really comfortable and served us well. It had teas and coffees and good shampoo. We went to the restaurant for most meals and the food was really nice.

It ended up being a great hotel staycation for us and it was because the hotel had everything we wanted and needed.

An amazing boutique hotel and perfect place to stay to explore Kaohsiung! The Americana-themed decor was so charming and whimsical. Each room is decorated tastefully and with a lot of character. The rooms were very clean and well-appointed with basic amenities. The bed was super clean, large, and comfortable. Huge bathrooms!!
Despite the great rooms and decor, the best thing about Smokey Joe's was the incredibly nice and attentive staff! They were so friendly and always offering to help make our trip better, with umbrellas, packed meals to go, and any other accommodation they could think of.
It is in a good location to explore the rest of Kaohsiung, and certainly a relaxing place to come back to after a day out. The complimentary breakfast was very generous and delicious.
We couldn't recommend this place more and just wish we were going back to Kaohsiung soon! Don't miss out!
