I had never been to this restaurant before and went on a recommendation. It is in the basement of the shopping center. There was already a queue forming for early lunch. The hostess gives you a number and a menu to circle your choices. The menu had English and was easy to understand. Our waiter spoke great English and helped us with our questions. Everything I tried was great. The prices are reasonable.

Consistent good and delicious food you can count on with reasonable price
The wait time can be very long during peak dining hours
Service was a little slow for our last visit, I was a little bit surprised, it is the first time I have experienced in Taiwan din tai fung.

We would return again and again just for the soup dumplings -- but as one needs a bit of variety be sure to try the cold eggplant, spicy cucumber and fried pork chop, as well.

Long queuing up but that doesn't stop us to try on the famous xiao long bao in din tai feng. Other food also taste good and fresh.👍🏻

Din Tai Fung Tianmu Branch lives up to the high quality of food and service offered by every other Din Tai Fung branch I have dined at. The wait was almost an hour but we ended up spending most of it deciding on what to order and they put the order in before we were seated so we ended up getting our food quickly. It is a bit expensive for dumplings but the quality measures up to it.
