We took our kids of 5 and 9 years old to visit this museum during the summer time. The park area around the main building is immense, it might take a whole day to walk over the area including visiting the museum, very recommended to the visitors who plan to spend one day long in this museum.

There are divided into many sections, it is not only an art museum, it’s also small ranged of historical and natural museum. The permanent exhibition has one fixed fee, the temporary exhibition has other entrance fee. Normally the temporary exhibition is located at the first floor at the right hand side of the main entrance.

The permanent exhibition includes the rooms at the first and third floor. The first floor counts with historical, natural / biological, and weapon rooms. The third floor has musical instruments, the violin room is included in the permanent exhibition entrance fee (it is the largest violin collection museum in the world), there is another ordinary exhibition room at third floor with large kinds of musical instruments should be paid apart.

It’s like a condensed hall with the most impressive arts, all in once place.

A collection of stuffs dont make it a great museum. It's just a bunch of personal collections.

Animal model, weapons collection, western art work, were on the list.

It's a really good museum, but only if you are from Asia. If you are a Westerner, you can visit any other museum in your country, and it's kinda the same as here.
You should spend your money elsewere.

Bármely más magyar múzeumba ugyanezt lehet látni, ezért úgy gondolom, hogy nem érdemes meglátogatni. Kívül a park szép, de nem igazán érdekes a múzeum maga.

Chimei museum is a private owned museum showing lots of art masterpieces about history, animals, music and weapons. No photos inside, I enjoy visiting with my friend, can spend a whole afternoon here.

Setting in Tianan, an antique city, chimei museum can definitely refresh your senses from Chinese to European. With tons of collections encluding artwork, instrument, clocks, specimen, weapons and so on, from ancient to modern, chimei museum is required to be visited by no matter tourists or art lovers.
Various collections, a must visit in Tianan.
