Pleasant new very sterile hotel furnished with attention to detail; has practically everything you need, from European-style sockets to a rocking chair and big flatscreen TV. They even provide complimentary cup noodles and a can of Pepsi. Free WiFi. Some rooms look out onto a wall, some onto a street, but a quiet one.
Fairly convenient location, walking distance (under 10 minutes) to City Council and Formosa Boulevard stations.
Warm buffet-style breakfast very fair, nice selection.
Very polite and competent staff who take customer care seriously; there was one issue during our stay, but the staff supervisor (Dino) dealt with it very professionally.

The hotel is a little hard to find but they offer free transport pick-up (just called in advance). I personally find it easier to walk via Exit 11 through the Liuhe Night Market although that's not the recommended route. This hotel reminds me of Harris hotel with the cute painted wall murals that lift one's spirits. The hotel staff is cheerful and friendly and warn us about the possible noise from some of the construction in the building. The soft drinks and instant noodles in the rooms are free and wi-fi is very strong. Rooms are spacious with a large comfortable bed while the toilets are sparklingly clean. Breakfast is basic but at this price point, this is highly value for money. Don't be deceived by the appearance of the hotel or its surrounding neighborhood. It is a great find!

Hotel was a bit hard to find but a nice modern place. He room was small but had ok amenities. Ramen and soda for free, bicycles, and only five minutes walk to liouhe night market. Free coffee and tea in the lobby also. Breakfast buffet was not great, but does the job. Unfortunately he staff at the cafeteria was a little rude. Otherwise, a great place

The walls of this hotel is nicely decorated with cute painted pictures. There are two big maps painted on the wall at the lobby. They also provided free map with nearby attractions and eateries which is very useful.
The location is near to Liuhe night market and City Council MRT Station (7-10 mins walk)
In room, aside from bottles of water, tea, coffee, they also provided cup noodles and cans of soft drink. There is even a rocking chair.
The only problem about this hotel is the room wall is not sound proof. You can clearly hear what people is talking outside the room and also running steps..

Super value - granted prices in Kaohsiung are lower, but we loved this hotel because for the price, their amenities are unbeatable:
- Washer and dryer on second floor (free service, free detergent)
- If the washer and dryer are unavailable, the 24 hr laundromat is around the corner (5 min walk) where you can pay to get your laundry done (self service)
- 7-11 is round the other corner
- lots of food in the area
- 5 min walk from Liouhe Night Market (lots of food!!!)
- 8 min walk to either City Hall MRT or Formosa Blvd (main intersection) MRT (that's where the Dome of Light is)
- Bicycles for rent (we didn't use it)
- Shuttle bus to MRTs
- If it rains, borrow an umbrella by the front of the hotel
- Spacious room
- Housekeeping is very detailed
- Free breakfast
- Free water dispenser (there was one on 3rd floor. not sure if it is on all floors)
- Free ramen noodles in the room! (how sweet of them!)
- Body wash and shampoo in the bathroom
- In room safe

The facilities are clean, and very welcoming. The staff (from front desk to food&beverage) are really nice and courteous. They speak English, so no problems communicating, and they are genuinely gracious and friendly. They are also very knowledgeable with local areas of interest and how to get there.

Love this hotel. Would definitely come back!

Room Tip: When we were there (May 17-24, 2014), there was some renovation/remodelling going on, so from 9.30am or so, you will here drilling and construction. May be less noisy on higher floors.
