best night market in taiwan except for those in taipei. It has lots of food! but the streets are so narrow that it is extremely squeezy. Try the famous braised snacks (lu wei) and the black pepper bun (hu jiao bing)

I do love a night market and this was by far the biggest over seen. Food and people everywhere! Like most places in Taiwan the amount of foreigner travellers is limited but vendors are easy to communicate with so nothing is a struggle.

It's food. You may not know what it is but it'll be tasty!

very big nightmarket.. u can find all sorts of foods here.. transportation will be tricky as the frequency of buses in tainan can take up to 45 mins.. taking a cab from rail station to the nightmarket will cost u ~NT120.. go after 7pm as by then most of the stalls are open for biz..

This is the biggest night market in Tainan . Great for those people who like shopping for queue . You'll find all types of lines , queue and general waiting around here . There's also some snack food , after you've enjoyed the queues .

There are smaller and nicer night markets .

The market was everything that you would expect. Loads of food stalls and all the bits and pieces of variety goods. We had some steak at the central stall which was good but expensive. Def worth a visit
