This temple is old but has beautiful architecture. Worth a visit if you are in Changhua. The ceiling of the entrance area is particularly fascinating. There are numerous seafood restaurants and cake shops in the nearby streets.

Though under some roof construction during our last visit, this beautiful temple is an excellent example of a Mazu place of worship. It is very colorful and enormous.

On weekend you might encounter some festival here, but the temple is a good historical site even if you are not here to pray. The temple is actually quite big with 2 levels and house many deities, mainly the heaven goddess.

See technology at work with gas ignited flame for lighting incense and mass collection paper burning. Get some gift at the shop and you might even notice there is a special Hello Kitty (endorsed by Sanrio) T-shirt and gift that you can ONLY get here and nowhere else.

Very colorful like all mazu temple, It's also very authentic and popular with tourists and locals alike. Lots of small shops and good food stalls around.

We visited the temple in the evening along with our business associates. It was something like visiting a Indian temple. To every god / goddess incense sticks were offered. and prayer done.
