We heard about this homestay from a friend who stayed here before, and knew that there are Hello Kitty themed rooms which are not featured on their official website. On the morning we wanted to check in, we called to find out if the room is still available, and the person told us that yes it is. We asked if he could keep it for us and we would be arriving after six that evening, and he agreed. It was a weekday. We arrived that evening at about Seven. Everything was in order, except that we found that bed furnishing a little old. There were three of us and we took the quad room, which was on the ground floor. The homestay is about 5 mins drive from the Lugang town. We also visited the glass Mazu Temple, about 5 mins drive away. We had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was a simple, but generous serving of porridge and simple dishes (mostly vegeterian). After breakfast, we hang around for some photo-taking at the well-decorated nostalgic surrounding. Does recommend for a different experience.
