The staff are very nice and helpful. The free breakfast is great - it's actually a full meal including fruits, drinks, desert. There's a free DIY laundry room. And you even get free movies in your room - I watched Tolkien during my stay. Overall it is a very nice place to stay, and wonderful value for money. Definitely recommended for everyone who visits Taichung.

Since I am traveling with my family, I’ve booked a room for 3 pax - like most of the hotel design in the city, don’t expect too much on the room size.

As a hotelier, I am not really like the design of bathroom door. There is no lock on the glass door - and easily ajar with a small gap; if you are a demanding person on privacy, you might need to consider this part - especially if you are traveling with friends.m, not family.

Personally, I like the design of the writing desk area.. kind of Japanese style with a minibar, you could store your drinks there and enjoy your own peaceful moment.

Room cleanliness is up to expectation for me, no major cleanliness issue was found during the stay, and amenities in the room are sufficient - of cause, it would be nice if they provide a larger tooth paste.

The service is outstanding, very passionate and helpful front desk agents. Nice arrangement on the manning of agents, no queue at all whenever I approach the counter.

Overall, this is a lovely hotel in Taichung with good location, very close to the train station and night market. Their amazing service makes the whole trip experience smooth and sweet.

Cityinn Hotel Plus - Taichung was a fantastic base for visiting Taichung and surrounds. Although everything is spread out in Taichung, the TRA train station area is still the best area to stay as most bus routes go through the station. The double room was spacious enough for two to feel comfortable. The decoration was a bit like a six year old’s room with all the animations all over the walls but the room was clean. The breakfast spread was relatively healthy with plenty of tasty vegetable dishes. Free milk tea around the clock and free self-service laundry were nice conveniences. The front desk was always well-staffed and there were plenty of places to eat within a few minutes of the hotel.
