I recently had the chance to stay at the E-DA Royal will on business in Taiwan. To say it came as a surprise falls well short of my experience. The hotel its self was great but what I did not expect was the amenities attached to the hotel. A top brand shopping mall with numerous food places and a indoor ice rink!!!.
The staff where excellent and tried very hard to go that extra mile on all occasions.

Room Tip: View over fountain pool

I happened to stay in this hotel for a business trip for 7 nights. As it was booked by the company I did not know anything about it before arriving.
The hotel staff are fantastic. They are all so helpful.
The buffet breakfast is extensive
The rooms are large and comfortable....great beds and pillows.
As a resort hotel you have great shopping across the road and it would be ideal for families with young children.
From a business perspective it was very comfortable and the WiFi was excellent.

The entire staff treated us great from the moment we checked in , explained the facilities to us and were very hospitable. When we had some light construction beside our room we were immediately moved to another room and upgraded, this is how to run a first class hotel .... we will be back to enjoy the friendly staff and hotel
Thank you
Keith Estes

My partner and I were in Kaohsiung for Tomorrowland Unite, a music festival. We bought a package for tickets and accommodations at E-Da Royal Hotel. Unfortunately the event got cancelled due to horrible weather. Recognizing that we were effectively stranded, the hotel offered us the same room at a generously discounted rate, which really made us feel taken care off. The room was great, very comfortable, and huge for just two people. Only complaint is that it was hard to find food outside of the hotel, as the stores and even the nearby convenience store closed at around 8 pm. Not sure if that's because of the typhoon, or are regular closing hours.

We were deciding between the Skylark and Royal Hotel and ended up at the Royal Hotel. The room was fantastic. The bathroom being on the balcony worked out great; we had a lovely soak and enjoyed the view.

The room was spacious and had all the amenities you would want and expect from a nice hotel. The mall is just across the street. The convenience store on the corner was full of people late at night because there was nowhere else to eat.

We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and the buffet spread is decent and pretty good selection.

The check in and check out process was pretty efficient. We arrived early and they didn't have the room ready so we left out stuff at concierge and went shopping.

The reason you would stay here is for the outlet and the theme park. It is too far away from anything else to really decide to stay here.
