“Kecak Dance”
Reviewed April 4, 2014 via mobile

So ,i went there at 4 pm,cause we know that the show gonna start at 6 pm and the tickets locket open at 5pm.it was great ,the view its so beautiful, but beware for the fat monkeys bcs sometimes the came out of the blue. BUT the ticket locket system was horrible ,there are no lines or anything so ppl just surrounding the ticket seller and it became such a mess,me and my fam have to ask other ppl to buy the tickets for us...btw it costs us 400.000 rupiah for 4 prsn but its trully worth it because the show is good and we can also see beautiful sunset as background, the show takes more than an hour,so its really recommended

“Amazing view”
Reviewed March 31, 2014

The view of the cliff face, the temple atop the cliff and the endless sea was beautiful and breathtaking. Kecak dance was 100,000 rupiah but i felt it was a little too long but nonetheless it was a good experience.

“Crowded and with terrible monkeys - and there are better options”
Reviewed March 29, 2014

Apparently the monkeys at Uluwatu are trained to steal from people and are generally vicious (way different than the monkeys in Ubud). We learned this the hard way when a monkey stole our (thankfully empty) camera case and we witnessed another monkey steal a camera from someone ahead of us and then attack someone a short while later. The temple is right on a cliff and is very beautiful, but we went to plenty of temples that had the upside without the monkey problem. We stuck around for sunset and saw a fire dance for 200,000 rupiah each, which was surprisingly good.
