Although the pictures look quiet nice, don’t be deceived, the view is literally the ONLY thing going for this place. Where to start.. After a lovely 5 days in Seminyak, we had booked 4 nights in this location to relax, stay in our room, chill and watch dvd's. We soon discovered with-in minutes that there was NO FRIDGE, NO SAFE, NO PHONE, NO DVD PLAYER, and the TV in the room was miniature & ancient, less than 30cms big and had a set top box, not to mention all of the movie channels and western chancels were blocked out. We asked the staff if we could hire a dvd player, or move to a room that did, they told me no rooms had dvd players at all. The Air-con in our room took over 2-3 hours to get going, then dripped everywhere underneath it, and was very noisy. The bathroom was terrible, open windows and full of mozzies, smells, no hand towels, no face cloths, no bath matts, and towels are old and no longer white and don't get replaced when room is made up. Also, no doonas on bed, just a thin sheet. The breakfast choices were terrible, dinner was terrible and what you actually received in front of you (unless it was indo, which was still terrible) was completely different to what was described on the menu IE french baguette is white toasted stale bread with butter both sides. The staff were friendly, only because they bairly spoke english and said yes to everything you asked but had no clue about anything. I would not recommend this place to anyone, other than backbackers and surfers and would not pay more that $30-$50 for it. My partner & i can slum it in the best of times but when you pay $97aus, you kind of expect a little bit more for your money than just a view, esp in Bali ( where we stayed in 5 star seminyak for $50 a night!). Try at your own expense, but dont have ANY EXPECTATIONS. There was a lot more miniature issues, that I wont even begin to go into on here that you come to get used to with other hotels ( eg, blow dryer, international adaptors, room service they don’t exist here) but good luck if you take the punt and get a good deal.
